I have taken a lot of advice over the years when it comes to reaching your ideal clients and people who appreciate your work. Some of these things included having a great website/optimizing SEO, using appropriate hashtags or keywords on social media, consistent posting, using ads etc etc. I’m not saying these things don’t help, because they do to some extent but I was still left disappointed more often than not.
I stopped waiting and started pitching.
I’ve sent out hundreds of emails to dream clients and finally the clients I’ve been trying to reach have been answering me. How are they supposed to know you exist if you never reach out ? Are we really waiting for the off chance where a dream client miraculously comes by your posts ? Stop waiting and start making moves.
